Position title: Grant Officer
Workplace: Hanoi, with domestic travels
Term: 1 year (renewable)

Reports to: Chief of Party (of an USAID funded program)

Job Summary
Grant Officer is responsible for overseeing the contracting/ procurement process under a
program funded by USAID which focus on supporting services and policies for people with disabilities, ensuring the integrity of the sub-grant process and the compliance with applicable USAID provisions and is responsible for the grant-making to the subgrantees.

This individual helps develop organizational acquisition policies, procedures and strategies; evaluate procurement requests to ensure they're consistent with USAID’s and GVN’s rules and regulations; publicize forthcoming procurement to inform the public and invite applications from interested parties; and evaluate proposals/applications to assess prices and contractor/recipient reliability.

This individual will report to Chief of Party and works with program officers and other staff to coordinate and implement activities.
